Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate

Sodium ascorbyl phosphate (SAP)  is a stable, water-soluble form of vitamin C that functions as an antioxidant and is potentially effective for brightening an uneven skin tone. It is specifically produced for use as a stabilized source of vitamin C in cosmetic products. It is light-stable and oxygen-stable. It has a purity of more than 95.0% and Ascorbic acid content in this molecule is at least 45%.

Krishana Enterprises is a leading supplier of Sodium ascorbyl phosphate (SAP), which is produced by direct phosphorylation of ascorbic acid sodium salt where l-ascorbic acid is suspended in an oxygenated, non-hydroxylic solvent together with sodium and then treated with a phosphorylating agent. There is also research showing amounts of 1% and 5% concentrations of sodium ascorbyl phosphate can influence factors linked to breakouts. Thus, this form of vitamin C may be an effective adjunct to anti-acne products that contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid.
